Complete guide to publishing your Bagisto Native Android app on Google Play Store.

Prerequisites

Before publishing, ensure you have:

  • Google Play Developer Account ($25 one-time fee)
  • App icon (512x512 PNG)
  • Feature graphics (1024x500 PNG)
  • Screenshots (multiple sizes)
  • Privacy Policy URL
  • App Bundle (AAB) or APK

Build Configuration

1. Update Version Information

In app/build.gradle.kts:

Publishing Steps

1. Create Release

  1. Go to Google Play Console
  2. Select your app
  3. Go to Release → Production
  4. Click Create new release

2. Upload Bundle

  1. Upload your AAB file
  2. Add release notes
  3. Click Save

3. Review & Rollout

  1. Review release details
  2. Click Start rollout to Production
  3. Wait for review (usually 1-2 hours)
